How the Data is Sourced: Information is initially extracted from manufacturer Labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) by a custom AI-agent. This agent scans for key agronomic elements including Active Ingredients, FRAC/HRAC/IRAC groups, EPA registration numbers, standard use rates, turf tolerances, target pests, and physical properties like specific gravity and formulation types.
Verification & Moderation: While AI accelerates data entry, all information is manually moderated and verified. The taxonomy (such as pest names and chemistry groups) is standardized using custom-built backend cleaning tools to ensure searchability and cross-compatibility.
Perpetually Under Construction: The database is actively growing. However, it should be viewed as perpetually "under construction" from both a data accuracy and data completeness perspective.
